While sharing files or photos on the Symphony mobile app, users may receive a "Your corporate policies do not allow you to share files in this conversation" error.
If Mobile Application Management (MAM)/Mobile Device Management (MDM) is used to manage your mobile device, sharing may have been disabled by your organization. You will need to reach out to your internal IT team or internal Symphony Admin to modify your account accordingly.
If MAM/MDM is not used, this error can occur if the setting to grant access to the photo gallery is not allowed on the mobile device itself. Your internal Symphony Admin can amend this by enabling the below entitlements in the Admin Portal to allow access to the photo gallery and file system.
