Android logs contain useful performance information which can assist in troubleshooting certain scenarios. This article explains how to capture logs from the Symphony mobile app in two different scenarios:

Scenario 1: The user is logged in

To capture logs from an Android device:

  1. In the Symphony mobile app, tap the three dots menu in the top right corner.

  1. Tap Settings.

  1. Select Logs from the list, then tap Share on the following screen. The options for sharing logs will be displayed on your mobile screen.

  1. Send the logs by email to the Symphony Support team, at support@symphony.com.

Scenario 2: The user is not logged in

To capture logs from an Android device:

  • If the sign in flow fails right after entering the email address, tap the SYMPHONY logo 3 times.

  • If the sign in flow fails right during SSO, tap the Sign in with SSO banner 3 times.

  • Tap Share. The options for sharing logs will be displayed on your mobile screen.

Note: If the files are too large to email, inform the Symphony Support team. They can arrange to receive it using a secure file transfer site.
