Capture iOS logs

iOS logs contain useful performance information which can assist in troubleshooting certain scenarios. This article explains how to capture logs from the Symphony mobile app in two scenarios:

Scenario 1: The user is logged in

To capture logs from an iOS device:

  1. In the Symphony mobile app, navigate to Settings.

  1. Tap Logs.

  1. Tap Export logs. The options for sharing logs will be displayed on your mobile screen.

 

  1. Send the logs by email to the Symphony Support team, at support@symphony.com.

Scenario 2: The user is not logged in

To capture logs from an iOS device:

  • If the sign in flow fails right after entering the email address, tap the SYMPHONY logo 5 times.

  • If the sign in flow fails during SSO tap the Sign in with SSO banner 5 times.

  • Tap Export logs. The options for sharing logs will be displayed on your mobile screen.

 

Note: If the files are too large to email, inform the Symphony Support team. They can arrange to receive it using a secure file transfer site.
