Service accounts are used by applications such as LDAP sync, pre-built or custom bots and any application built using Symphony APIs.
Note: This type of account cannot be assigned to an employee.
To create a new service account:
- Navigate to Create An Account in the Admin Portal under Accounts.
- Enter the Basic Information of the account under the Service Account tab.
Notes:
- The First Name and Last Name fields have a 64 character limit.
- All other fields have a 256 character limit.
- Complete the rest of the account information, for example Additional Information and Entitlements.
- Select Create to save the new service account.
