A Cloud9 priority notification is a specialized alert for Shoutdowns and Ringdowns designed to ensure users do not miss critical information amidst high volumes of communication. Priority notifications can enable push notifications during alerts, allowing them to override certain "Do Not Disturb" or scheduling restrictions.
Priority notifications are enabled on a button-by-button basis.
To enable or disable Priority notifications:
- Right-click a Shoutdown or Ringdown connection button and select Advanced Settings.
- Turn on or off Priority in the Additional Settings.
A star will be displayed in the bottom-right corner of the connection button, indicating that priority has been assigned to that connection. Incoming calls will flash in a brighter red colour to distinguish them from standard calls.
