Cloud9 desktop application already running on this computer notice

If you minimize or exit Cloud9, the application is still running in the background. If you try to relaunch Cloud9, the following message will be displayed:

This message will also pop up when you close the application from the X in the top right corner and try to open up the application again.

You can successfully reopen Cloud9 by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Windows system tray and select the up arrow:

  1. Locate the C9 icon:

  1. Double-click the C9 icon, or right-click the C9 icon and select Open Window:

The Cloud9 window appears back on your screen.

Note: To fully log out and shut down Cloud9, select Log Out from the Settings menu.
