Suppress the Intercom beep tone for a user in the Cloud9 Admin Portal

If a user wants to reduce or suppress the Intercom (ICM) beep tone, you can adjust their ICM Tone Volume directly in the Cloud9 Admin Portal, following the steps below:

  1. Access the Users tab in the Admin Portal.
  2. Search for the user and click the Edit user details (pencil) icon.
  3. Scroll to the User Settings / Application Settings section and locate ICM Tones or Tone Volume.
  4. Move the slider to the left from the default –18 dB down to –64 dB to suppress the tone.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Have the user log out and back in to the Cloud9 application for the change to take effect.
