Add a contact to an existing WeChat room

To add members to a room on the WeChat Federation channel:

1. Go to Apps in Symphony Messaging and select WeChat under Federation Suite.

Note: If WeChat is not available in the application list under Federation Suite, please check with your internal IT team to see if you have the correct permissions to access this app.

2. Select the Rooms tab.

3. Hover over the three dot menu of the room you wish to add the new member(s) to and select Add Member.

4. Search for the desired member(s) you want to add to the WeChat Federation room, and select Add. 

6. Return to the room and check the members have been added as expected.
