When experiencing performance issues with Symphony, a quick resolution is to clear the cache and reload Symphony. This clears all local cached data as well as the IndexDB, which could be the root cause of the problem.
Windows
To perform a clear cache and reload:
- From the Symphony Desktop Application (SDA), select the Hamburger menu.
- Select Window.
- Select Clear cache and Reload or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Y (Symphony web or SDA version).
This starts the process of clearing the local cache and reloading Symphony. During the reload, fresh data is obtained from your Symphony instance, which may take several seconds. You can then attempt to use Symphony and see if the previous issue is resolved.
