Input box accessibility feature

Symphony users can benefit from an accessibility feature that allows computers or mobile devices with Voice Assistance installed to read out loud what is highlighted on screen.

Certain icons on screen will be highlighted with a blue line or border around the input box or on other parts of Symphony, as shown in the images below:

The feature cannot be turned off, but you can navigate it using the following keyboard commands:

  • TAB key to enable the feature.
  • TAB key again to go to the next part of the screen benefitting from voice assistance.
  • Shift + TAB key to go back to the previous highlighted part of the screen.
  • Select a different part of the screen to clear the blue box or border.
