You can configure alerts on the Symphony Messaging icon displayed on the taskbar to flash each time you receive a notification. This functionality is not available in the browser version of Symphony Messaging.
- From the Hamburger menu on Windows
or the Symphony Messaging menu on macOS, select Window, then Flash Notification in Taskbar.

- Go to Settings and select the Notifications tab.
- Under Unread chat indicators, ensure Counter + flashing chat is selected.
When the user receives a message or an @mention, the Symphony Messaging icon displayed on the taskbar will flash and display the number of unread messages.
