If you are unable to access Symphony Messaging using the Symphony Messaging Desktop Application (SDA) after a version upgrade or other changes, a common reason is that the URL of the Symphony Messaging instance is incorrect.
As a Symphony Messaging administrator, you can update the URL of your Symphony Messaging instance:
- Select the hamburger menu in SDA, then select Help -> About Symphony Messaging:
- Click the URL in the POD field 3 times to enter the edit mode.
- Enter the correct URL of your Symphony Messaging instance in the POD field.
Note: The URL in the following screenshot is only an example, and not your Symphony Messaging instance URL.
- Click the SAVE AND RESTART button.
