You can assign specific functions to up to three buttons that serve as shortcuts for frequently used actions or application functions like Do No Disturb, Record, Dynamic Intercom, Global Search, Volume and Group Broadcast.
For CloudHub users, the display of function buttons mirrors their Cloud9 Trader application.
To assign a function button:
- Go to the Cloud9 Trader application settings

Select Function Buttons tab in the Cloud9 Trader settings.
- Click one of the three Button dropdown menus and select the function to assign to this button from the list.
The table below presents the functions you can assign to each of these three buttons:

| Empty - None | No function selected | |
| DND Dial Tone | Do Not Disturb | Activate to mute ringtone for incoming Dial Tone calls. Only available for users who have Dial Tone. |
| Do Not Disturb | Do Not Disturb | Activate to mute ringtone for incoming Dial Tone or Intercom calls, and to prevent Intercom calls from connecting. |
| DND Intercom | Do Not Disturb | Activate to mute ringtone for Intercom calls and prevent their connection. |
| Dynamic Intercom | Search | Press to open the Intercom call well menu and make Intercom calls on the Cloud9 Trader. |
| Global Search | Search | Press to open Global Search to find buttons, contacts, or peers. |
| Record | Recording | Press the function button and select an active call or idle button to start recording. Only available for users who have Recording on Demand. |
| Do Not Record | Recording | Press the function button and select an active call or idle button to stop recording. Only available for users who have Recording on Demand. |

Activate Focus to mute notifications for shoutdowns, hoots, and Auto-speaker Intercom, while on an active call. Note: The alert volume for ringdowns and Dial Tone ringtone is not affected. |

| Group 1 to 8 | Group Broadcast | Press to broadcast to buttons linked to Group Broadcast button #1-8. |
