If you have sent a message in Symphony Messaging that you want to edit, you can retrieve your last sent message, edit it, and send its new version.
- Press the Up Arrow key
on your keyboard to quickly edit the last message you sent in a chat.
This opens the Edit message modal with your last message ready to be edited.
This shortcut will only open the Edit modal if your message is the last event you can see in the chat. If any other event, such as a change of room name or a sent chime, is mentioned after your last message in the chat, you won’t be able to use this shortcut to edit your last message.
You can still edit any previous message you sent in a chat from the More options menu of the message.
