Intercom Auto-Answer

Intercom is designed to be intrusive by default and will open the microphone automatically for a hands-free response. This is purely for internal coworkers and designed to enable colleagues to communicate quickly with one another without the need to answer the call.

You can turn on/off Auto-Answer on an Intercom button and/or for dynamic Intercom (Intercom initiated through the search feature) by following the steps below:

At the button level, right-click an Intercom button and select the Auto-Answer option in the Receive Call dropdown menu (Figure 1):

At Dynamic Intercom level, from the left navigation bar, select Status and select the Auto-Answer option in the Receive Call dropdown menu:
