Sign in to Symphony Messaging via Google Chrome for the first time

In addition to the Symphony Messaging Desktop Application (SDA), you can sign in to Symphony Messaging using Google Chrome

Note: The SDA provides a greater ability to control and monitor your notifications and makes it easier to resize and switch between multiple workspaces rather than using the browser version. Learn how to sign in to Symphony Messaging via the SDA.

To sign in to Symphony Messaging using Google Chrome:

  1. Open a new browser session and enter the URL of your Symphony Messaging instance. This URL is provided when your Symphony Messaging instance is ready.

: Instance URL, where companyabc is the name of your Symphony Messaging instance.

  1. If not already signed in to your Google account, enter your email address and select Next.
  2. If your company has Single sign-on (SSO) enabled, enter your credentials and select Log in.

  1. If your company doesn't use SSO, you will need to reset your password before you can sign in to Symphony Messaging using Google Chrome. Enter your username and select Forgot your password?. You only need to reset your password the first time you use Google Chrome.

Note: Your username was provided to you as a Symphony Messaging admin when you first signed up for the platform.

  1. Enter your email address, complete the reCAPTCHA and select Recover Password.

  1. Follow the steps in the password reset email and then sign in to Symphony Messaging using Google Chrome with your username and newly created password.
