Add or edit connections on a user's Cloud9 24-Button Board

To ensure a user's connections on the Cloud9 desktop app are reflected on their physical 24-Button Board, you must configure the Button Board settings specifically for that user.

To access the user’s 24-Button Board configuration page on the Cloud9 Admin Portal:

  1. Select the Users tab in the left navigation pane.
  2. Hover over the row of the user account in the table and select the Edit Buttons button .
  1. Click the View Button Board button.

If the user’s 24-Button Board (BB) is being configured for the first time, you will see the following message on the page:

To assign Connections to Physical Buttons:

  1. Click the Edit button in the top right corner of the page to open the Edit Button Board page.

  1. Choose a button page using the red up and down arrows on the right side of the board.
  2. Select the Connections tab of the table.

This table lists the connections (including Intercoms) provisioned to the users' layout.

  1. Select the icon of a connection and drag and drop it into a button of the board.
  1. Click the Save button to save your changes.
  • If you don’t make any change to a button board, you can click Back to return to the button board view and quit the Edit mode.
  • You can drag and drop buttons to reorganize the button board and swap buttons.
  • You can clear the board using the options in the Clear Options dropdown menu.

  • From the three dots menu of a button, you can delete or pin a button from the button board. 

  • The user will see their updated button layout on their Cloud9 desktop app and physical 24-Button Board upon their next login or after you trigger a re-loging as an Admin.
  • Users can edit their physical button board from the Cloud9 desktop app.
