Block a Federation contact

You can block SMS & Voice Direct and WhatsApp Direct contacts to prevent unwanted, disruptive, or fraudulent communications.

From the Symphony Messaging client app

1. Access the contact's profile and select the Block link.
2. Select the reason for blocking: Spam, Abuse, Compliance, Other.
3. Add any notes.
4. Select Block. (You can easily unblock them using the Unblock link on their profile card.)

From the Symphony Messaging mobile app

1. Access the contact's profile, select the More menu, then select Block.
2. Select the reason for blocking: Spam, Abuse, Compliance, Other.
3. Add any notes.
4. Select Block. (You can easily unblock them using the Unblock button in the More menu.)
