View a conversation and message ID on the Symphony Messaging mobile app for iOS/Android

In some situations, users may be asked to send a Conversation ID or Message ID to help with troubleshooting.

iOS

  1. Open a chat in Symphony Messaging mobile app.
  2. Tap and hold the message to display a dropdown list of available options.

  3. From the list, select Info to open the Message Status pane. The Conversation ID and Message ID are listed at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Tap and hold the IDs to copy them.

  5. If required, paste the IDs into an email and send them to the Symphony Support team at support@symphony.com.

Android

  1. Open a chat.
  2. Tap and hold the message to select it (blue highlight).
  3. Tap the three dots menu in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Select Info in the dropdown menu.

   

  1. Tap and hold the IDs to copy them.

  1. If required, paste the IDs into an email and send them to the Symphony Support team at support@symphony.com.
