SSO login via a different domain

Some organizations might have more than one domain in their company network, and therefore may have more than one Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) server.

Symphony is only able to connect to one ADFS server using single sign on (SSO), however, users from other domains should also be able to sign in if:

  • Trust relationships have been setup between the ADFS servers inside the company.
  • No firewall or network blocking is configured for the user's device trying to access the ADFS server allocated for Symphony.
  • Users from other domains indicate their domain or full email address for the authentication process to other ADFS servers, whilst signing in from the SSO page of the company (a user should use company/username instead of the username only, for example companyabc/John.Smith).

If users from other domains are still unable to connect, please contact your internal IT team in the first instance.  If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Symphony Support team at support@symphony.com.
