Update Smarsh provided PGP/SSH keys

Symphony has moved from standard FTP to PGP encryption for sending data to Smarsh.

For customers using the Smarsh archiving tool, the PGP and SSH keys discussed below are required to ensure the information in the Admin Portal is correct.

Update PGP and SSH key information:

  1. In Symphony, select the Settings icon.

  1. Select Admin Portal.

This option is only available if you're a designated Administrator with Admin Portal access.

  1. Select Begin Session.

Session Objective and Comments are optional fields and are not required to access the Admin Portal.

  1. Navigate to Company Settings > Export Content and select the SFTP tab.

  1. Select Choose your Key followed by User Provided from the dropdown menu.
  2. Copy and paste the entire public SSH key.
  3. Select the Encryption tab.
  4. Select Choose your Key followed by User Provided from the dropdown menu.
  5. Copy and paste the entire public PGP key, including the "----BEGIN"and "-----END"lines.

  1. Select Save.
