To ensure a seamless login experience when embedding Symphony Messaging within a web application or portal, you need to enable third-party cookies. This is because Symphony Messaging is launched from a domain such as myinstance.symphony.com, which is outside of the root web page domain.
To enable cookies via your browser:
- Open a Chrome browser and navigate to chrome://settings.
- Go to the Privacy and security tab > Third-party cookies section, and either:
- Select Allow third-party cookies from your browser settings.

- Continue to block third-party cookies, but create an exception rule to allow third-party cookies when browsing specific websites: Scroll down and select Add next to Sites allowed to use third-party cookies.
Example: Enabling third-party cookies for the [*.]dtcc.com domain.
Note: You may not be allowed to modify these settings. In this case, you need to ask your IT department to perform the changes for you.
