Symphony Groups are a special type of chat room allowing members from your organization to interact anonymously as they respond to inquiries from individuals outside the group.
Groups work like an email distribution list where the requestor from outside the group cannot see the name of the responder, only the group name instead (Figure 1):

Group members can be located across time zones so that customers’ inquiries will be handled in real time even when the local team has finished for the day. Additionally, by using Symphony for Group interactions, communications are protected by Symphony’s omnipresent compliance features.
