A user not entitled for Can create internal public rooms cannot be promoted to being an owner of a public room.
To check if a user is entitled:
- In Symphony, select the Settings icon.
- Select Admin Portal.
This option is only available if you're a designated Administrator with Admin Portal access.
- Select Begin Session.
Session Objective and Comments are optional fields and are not required to access the Admin Portal.
- Search for the relevant user and under Entitlements, check if the Can create internal public rooms entitlement is enabled.
- If the entitlement is set to No, change it to Yes.
- Select Save.
- Return to Symphony and attempt to promote the user to the position of owner within a room.
