WhatsApp Connect - unable to add internal member to a room

When adding an internal member to a room, users may receive the following error (Figure 1):

A common reason for this error is that the person being added has not yet accepted the connection request from the Symphony Connect Helper (Figure 2):

The user should make sure the person they are trying to add has received and accepted a connection request from the Symphony Connect Helper. This connection is required to be added to the room.


If the user has accepted the connection request and still cannot be added, please contact Symphony Support at support@symphony.com
