When trying to screen share Symphony on a Mac device, the host screen might not be visible to participants. The most likely cause of this is the Symphony Desktop Application (SDA) preventing screen sharing via the Security & Privacy policies.
In order to screen share, the user will need to grant access to the SDA.
To initiate a screen share:
- Select Open System Preferences in the popup window that is displayed.
- Select Privacy, navigate to the Screen Recording section and then select the Symphony checkbox.
- Once completed, close this window, refresh the SDA and then attempt another screen share.
