When trying to screen share Symphony on a Mac device, the host screen might not be visible to participants.
The most likely cause of this is the Symphony application disallowing screen-sharing via the Security & Privacy policies on a Mac device.
In order to screen share, the user will need to grant access to the Symphony application from System Preferences. This can be done in 2 ways:
First, if the user attempts to initiate a screen share, click Open System Preferences in the popup window which is displayed (Figure 1):
Figure 1 Open System Preferences
Click on Privacy, go to the Screen Recording section and then select the Symphony check box (Figure 2):

Once completing this, the user can close this window, refresh the Symphony application and then attempt another screen share.
Alternatively, the user can navigate directly to the location below and select the Symphony check box from there:
System Preferences -> Privacy & Settings -> Screen Recording -> Symphony check box
If the issue persists, please contact the Symphony Support team at support@symphony.com and inform them that you are experiencing issues with screen sharing on Mac.
