Promoting a user to an admin role

When a user is promoted to become an Admin role or above, one of two possible things will happen, depending on the background logic within Symphony:

 

  • If the user and their company use single sign on (SSO), they will receive a password reset request that will allow them to access the Admin Portal, in the case that their SSO doesn't properly function
  • If the user and their company do not use SSO, they will not receive a password reset request, because their normal Symphony credentials will allow them to access the Admin Portal
