How to bypass SSO to log in to Symphony Messaging

If the single sign on (SSO) solution configured with your Messaging platform is preventing users from authenticating due to a misconfiguration or service issue, a Symphony Messaging Admin can bypass SSO to log in to Symphony Messaging by following these steps:

  1. As a Symphony Messaging Admin, navigate to https://companyabc.symphony.com/?admin (where companyabc is the name of your Symphony instance).
  2. Select Forgot your password.
  3. Enter your email address in the Password Reset field when prompted.
  4. Follow the instructions provided to reset your Symphony Messaging credentials.
  5. Once completed, navigate to https://companyabc.symphony.com/?admin (where companyabc is the name of your Symphony Messaging instance) and enter the newly updated credentials.
  6. Once the Admin Portal has loaded, navigate to Configure SSO under Company Settings.

  1. Update the SSO configuration accordingly or disable the functionality entirely if necessary.
