How to bypass SSO to log in to Symphony

If the single sign on (SSO) solution configured with your Symphony platform is preventing users from authenticating due to a misconfiguration or service issue, a Symphony Admin can bypass SSO to login to Symphony by following these steps:

  1. As a Symphony Admin, navigate to (where companyabc is the name of your Symphony instance).
  2. Select Forgot your password.
  3. Enter your email address in the Password Reset field when prompted.
  4. Follow the instructions provided to reset your Symphony credentials.
  5. Once completed, navigate to (where companyabc is the name of your Symphony instance) and enter the newly updated credentials.
  6. Once the Admin Portal has loaded, navigate to Configure SSO under Company Settings.


  1. Update the SSO configuration accordingly or disable the functionality entirely if necessary.
