Symphony snippet feature error

In some instances, antivirus software can prevent the Symphony screen snippet feature from functioning correctly, resulting in the following error message (Figure 1):

As part of the screenshot process, the Symphony screen snippet executable file creates and then deletes the following file (Figure 2):

.jpg file in C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Temp

Note: %Username% is the local user, e.g. John.Smith

If the antivirus software is preventing the creation of a file in this folder, the error in Figure 1 will be displayed.

In order to prevent the error from occurring, the antivirus application must be identified and the Symphony Desktop Application installation path must be whitelisted to prevent the application from restricting access. Once this is done, the Symphony screen snippet feature should work as expected.

If the issue persists, please contact the Symphony Support team at support@symphony.com and inform them that you are experiencing issue with the Symphony snippet feature.
