How To Update The Symphony Desktop Client Pod URL

Update the Symphony desktop client Pod URL (via the registry) by following these steps: 
 

Desktop Client Version 1.44-1.45 

1. From the Windows desktop, click Start

2. Type regedit and select the result highlighted below (Figure 1):

3. A User Account Control prompt will be displayed, click Yes to allow changes to be made to your PC

4. Navigate to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\symphony key (Figure 2):

5. Edit the Key PodUrl value to reflect your company Pod URL:
 
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\symphony]
 
 
 

Desktop Client Version 1.46+ 

1. From the Windows desktop, click Start

2. Type regedit and select the result highlighted below (Figure 3):

3. A User Account Control prompt will be displayed, click Yes to allow changes to be made to your PC

4. Depending on the install type, navigate to one of the following locations: 

Single User:
 
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Symphony\Symphony] key
 
All Users:
 
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Symphony\Symphony]
 
5. Edit the Key PodUrl value to reflect your company Pod URL:
 
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\symphony]
