Why can’t I see any external contacts or the Symphony Classic Network section?

If you don’t see any external contacts (marked by orange indicators) – and, if you’re in Symphony 1.5, you don’t see the Network icon – external communication may not be enabled for your company.


Speak with your Symphony Administrator about your external communication permissions.


Please note, the Network section is only available on Symphony 1.5. In Symphony 2.0, you can find your external contacts via search. To search, click the magnifying glass icon (figure 1) or use Ctrl + K / Cmd + K. Connection requests appear in the notification center, which can be accessed by clicking the bell icon (figure 2).
