Scroll down to see how to do this in Symphony 1.5
In Symphony 2.0:
Select Explore in the nav bar to find, follow, and update your tags and keywords.
Tags are #hashtags and $cashtags you can track to stay on top of trends or news. Keywords allow you to track key topics without using tags. Keywords you track are highlighted in chats.
Use the Explore feed to see when tags and keywords are used on Symphony, in chronological order (figure 1).

Modify your keywords at any time to stay on top of the most relevant topics. When you remove a keyword, previously tracked keyword activity will be removed from your feed. If you add back the keyword, historical activity will return (figure 2):

Please note, keywords will only apply to what you have access to across Symphony, specifically chats that you are a member of and all public chats.
In Symphony 1.5 (known as signals):
A signal is an automatic content feed you set up to track specific people, #hashtags, or $cashtags.
To create a new signal, click + in the top left of the screen and choose Signal. Add the people and keywords you wish to track and click Create (Figure 1):

Any time these names or terms are used in chat, you will receive a notification in your left nav under Signals. Click the chat name to go to the original message where the keyword appeared (Figure 2):
