How to reset your local cache on the Symphony Messaging Desktop Application (SDA) on Mac

  1. Completely exit the SDA.
  2. Open a Finder window.
  3. Open the Go menu in the top menu bar and click Go to Folder in the dropdown.
  4. Enter ~/Library/Application Support/ in the search bar.
  5. Locate the Symphony folder and rename it to Symphony_Previous.
  6. Restart the SDA. When starting, the SDA will automatically generate a new Symphony folder.
  7. Check that the SDA is now functioning as expected.
