Update the Symphony instance URL on the Symphony Desktop Application (SDA)

If you are unable to access Symphony using the Symphony Desktop Application (SDA) after a version upgrade or other changes, a common reason is that the URL of the Symphony instance is incorrect. 

To update the URL of your Symphony instance:

  1. Select the hamburger menu in SDA, then select Help -> About Symphony:

  1. Click the URL in the POD field 3 times to enter the edit mode.
  2. Enter the correct URL of your Symphony instance in the POD field.
    Note: The URL in the following screenshot is only an example, and not your Symphony instance URL.

  1. Click the SAVE AND RESTART button.
