Instant Voice offers the quickest, most efficient means of communication between two users within an organization. Designed for hands-free operation, an Instant Voice is automatically answered by the called party, allowing for immediate communication between users.
Users can start an Instant Voice call in any internal chat room on Symphony by selecting the Instant Voice icon in a chat (Figure 1):

You and your contact will both receive the message in your chat that an Instant Voice conversation has started and you are connected.
Note: Your contact must be logged in to Symphony to use Instant Voice. If you try to contact somebody who is not logged in, the Instant Voice button appears as disabled.
