Intercom stands for internal communication. You can have peer-to-peer Intercom connections or Group Intercom connections.
Peer-to-peer Intercoms
You can create Peer-to-peer Intercoms by selecting the Community menu, then Create Invitation then C9 Intercom (Figure 1):

Check the box of each user you want to connect to, or type their name in the search bar and then select Invite (Figure 2):

If you select a single user, the button will auto-populate with the name, but you can choose to relabel the connection if desired. If you selected several users or a group, you can name the button and place it on a button layout page:

Note: The other person invited to that connection needs to accept the connection.
Peer-to-peer Intercoms can function in 2 ways, with Auto Answer and without Auto Answer.
Auto Answer means that when you open that Intercom, you and your peer will hear a splash tone and both of you are automatically connected and transmitting. If you want to enable Auto Answer, right click on the Intercom connection and toggle Auto Answer on (Figure 4):

If Auto Answer is not enabled, when you select the connection you will hear a ring tone and your peer will hear a ring notification. They must select the connection for you both to be connected.
Group Intercoms
You can create Group Intercoms by selecting the Community menu, then Create Invitation then C9 Intercom (Figure 5):

Create a name for the connection and select OK. The connection will now be present on your home layout.
Note: All other people invited to that connection needs to accept the connection.
Once created, the connection will be displayed (Figure 7):

When you want to call out to the team, you must select the connection. When it is green you are transmitting and when it is red you are hearing the audio of others on that connection. If you have a button board, you can program this connection on your button board.
Group Intercoms can function in 2 ways, with Auto Speaker and without Auto Speaker.
Auto Speaker means that on a Group intercom, the user will automatically hear the voice of the person calling on the connection, but it will not open your microphone until you press the button. If you want to enable Auto Speaker, right click on the Intercom connection and toggle Auto Speaker on.
If Auto Speaker is not enabled, when you select the connection you will hear a ring tone. You must select the connection to hear the speakers on the connection.
